Magic City Youth Baseball (MCYB) supports an advanced instructional program for youth ages 9 – 12 
and a highly competitive baseball program for youths ages 13 - 19.

  • Concessions Coordinator (Corbett Field) Magic City Youth Baseball is seeking applicants for a Volunteer/Concession Manager at Corbett Field. Job Duration: 4/1/2017-9/1/2017Primary responsibilities are as follows: (but not limited to)     Supervise the day-to-day activities of the concession stand at Corbett Field.     Supervise and staff volunteer workers for various fundraising efforts throughout the MCYB season.     Ensure the concession stand meets any/all food service sanitation and health standards.      Assist and communicate with the Executive Director during tournaments, special events, promotional events, etc. that take place during the MCYB season. Those interested can send letter of interest/resume to:Andy LachExecutive Director, MCYB1940 S.   • NEW Bat Regulations Beginning 2018 If you are on the fence on purchasing a new bat this year, please advise the CR and BR leagues will all be moving to a Big barrell 2 5/8 bat width, also each bat must be stamped "USA Baseball" in order to meet specification.   • Help Scott Vigestad Fund Set Up There is no word to describe how truly great Scott (Vig, Viggy) is. He has a heart of gold and will do anything for anyone no matter the circumstances. I know that anyone who has met Scott would completely agree. If you have ever met Scott, I am sure he has helped you in one way or another and now it is our turn to return the favor in his time of need. Scott has been a volunteer coach and a true friend to the Magic City Youth Baseball Program over the past several years Scott was recently diagnosed with colon and liver cancer and had to go into immediate surgery.   • Homeruns for Hunger at Corbett Field Wednesday July 6th, Magic City Youth Baseball will be holding a non-perishable food drive. For every 1 food item fans donate to the drive, they will receive $1 off admission. All season pass holders will receive $1 off at the concession stand (up to $5). Let's do our part and smack it out of the park for hunger!
