Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth Update (5-15-2020):

⚾️ Cal Ripken (9U-12U) and Babe Ruth (13U & 14U) Team Selection Practices have been posted to our Facebook events tab and our website https://www.minotbaseball.com/page/show/5465588-calendar.

⚾️ Players will be placed into small groups and go through a couple of skills sessions each day. After the team selection practices are complete, players will be placed on a league team. Once the league teams have been set up, coaches will contact the players to let them know what team they have been placed on and what their practice schedule will be for the following week.

⚾️We have implemented the following COVID-19 procedures. Please visit with your athlete regarding these procedures prior to their first practice.

⚾️Players with the last names starting with A - M are to use the West Side Parking lot and entrance. Players with the last names starting with N - Z are to use the East Side Parking lot and entrance.

⚾️Player Guidelines for the practices:

⚾️Players must fill out the required waiver form and will need to turn it into the coaches before they will be allowed on the field to practice.

⚾️Each player is to have their own glove, bat, batting helmet, and water bottle. Players are encouraged to bring any safety items they feel the need to bring (hand sanitizer, face mask, gloves)

⚾️Players are NOT to come to the practice sessions early (not any earlier than 10 mins prior to the start time). Players must wait in the parking lot until their scheduled start time and once they enter the complex players must stay on the concrete area by the concessions stand until coaches direct them to take the field. NO PLAYING CATCH etc. while waiting for the practice session to start.

⚾️Social distancing is to be maintained prior to, during, and after all practice sessions.

⚾️Dugouts in all fields will be closed.

⚾️The use of candy, gum, and sunflower seeds will not be allowed inside the complex.

⚾️Players are not to stay at the complex once their practice session is over.

⚾️Parent Guidelines for the practices:

⚾️Parents are NOT allowed inside the fence of the baseball field.

⚾️Parents who are wanting to watch are to maintain the social distancing guidelines by spreading out along the outside of the baseball field fence. If you have other children, they are always to stay with you (not allowed to run freely inside the complex).

⚾️Parents are to exit with their players once the practice is over.
